Stephen was born and raised in Westminster, Maryland, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland: College Park, and subsequently attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is currently a resident in the Combined Family Medicine- Preventive Medicine Residency program at MedStar Franklin Square and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His areas of interest include justice-involved populations, the effect of carceral systems on health, as well as anti-racism in academic and clinical medicine. He is thrilled to represent his fellow residents and patients on the MDAFP Board.
