The MAFP communicates with is members and other “publics” through the quarterly Maryland Family Doctor print publication and the monthly MAFP E-Bulletin. MAFP also has a broadcast email capability to bring members more acute alerts as they are received at the MAFP office. Each publication brings the latest information about the State and National Academies, the practice of medicine in Maryland and the specialty of Family Medicine. Each publication is overseen by a MAFP Committee: The MAFP Editorial Board, the E-Bulletin Committee and the Executive. Members serving on each committee assure that the information conveyed is relevant to readers, bringing them pertinent information which they can put to good use in their professional lives.
