MDAFP is your voice and your resource in advocating for Family Medicine in the state of Maryland. Through building strong relationships with legislators and state agencies, we continue to make strides to ensure that the interests of family physicians and their patients are represented.
Get involved in the fight for Family Medicine!
Once a year, members of MDAFP come together in Annapolis to advocate for Family Medicine. Whether a seasoned key contact or a brand-new advocate, your voice matters, so mark your calendars!
State and federal lawmakers are making decisions every day that directly affect your patients and your practice. They need to hear from those who will be affected by those decisions. A “key contact” does just that. MDAFP’s Key Contact program uses family physicians to serve as resources to their legislators to advocate for family medicine and patient care.
